Occupational Therapy is the therapeutic use of self care, work and play activities, and therapeutic techniques to increase independent function; enhance development and prevent disability.

Occupational Therapy intervention may include adaptation of tasks or the environment to achieve maximum participation and independence and to enhance quality of life.
